My background, as they call this so elegantly in Dutch, is philosophy. Very few people study philosophy because there is no work to be found in this area. Yet it is in my opinion the most beautiful study there is. Philosophy forms thinking. And this is quite an asset when you start working with NLP, since, for some time already, uncontrolled growth has prevented seeing the wood through all those trees

Moreover, I have been so fortunate as to be able to do what only few people have had the opportunity to, i.e. to follow all NLP courses by Dr. Richard Bandler in person. For those who don't know Dr. Bandler, he is the man who invented NLP in the seventies. For that matter, I have always thought of myself as clever: Grammar School, University, etc. But when I met Richard Bandler for the first time, I at once realized what a genius he is.
